About the centre
SCRICHE – Symbiosis Centre for Research on International Higher Education was established in 2022 with a vision to bring out research output specifically focused on International Higher Education.
It is now poised to develop into a Think Tank focused on research in Higher Education (HE) in general with a considerable focus on International Higher Education (IHE).

Mission
To collaborate with national and international partners in conducting transformative research that enhances educational outcomes, fosters equity and influences policy for quality education – national.ly and globally.
Objectives
To carry out multidisciplinary quality research in comparative higher education in collaboration with multiple institutions within SIU, within India and abroad.
To synthesise existing research output and publish report that feed into policy making.
To analyse the reach and efficacy of existing policies in higher education and present outcomes for policy intervention.
To build human resource in comparative higher education research and policy advocacy.
